The dial utilizes an ingenious dual-arc layout to display time: hours track gracefully across the upper curve, while minutes sweep along the lower half. Above, an animated disc rotates with floating everyday objects that Penny playfully pursues, turning the simple act of reading the time into a dynamic mechanical delight.

The narrative extends to the intricately engraved case back, which depicts "Penny Cat's Wardrobe," revealing the origin of her adventures.
