With its white-and-black Panda configuration, this Autochron places legibility at the center of its design. The matte white dial is punctuated by three black CD-track chronograph counters, large luminous indexes and sharply contrasting red accents. The arrangement gives every timing indication its own visual hierarchy while retaining the unconventional spirit that has defined the Autochron since its late-1970s prototype origins. The 38 mm vertically brushed 316L steel case keeps proportions restrained, while the wider 37 mm aluminum bezel introduces 120 tactile clicks per revolution. A double-domed sapphire crystal and 20 ATM / 200 m water resistance give the watch the durability expected from the modern Autochron family. The TMI VK67 Meca-Quartz movement supplies the chronograph and date functions with quartz accuracy and a mechanical-style chronograph experience.
