A Symphony of Centuries: Two Stars in Concert – Pforzheim's Timeless Imprint
In the heart of Germany's watchmaking realm, Pforzheim, the river of time converges, giving rise to two luminous stars that reflect each other's light. Laco, with a century of elegance, etches the legend of precise flight instruments; Circula, tempered by seventy years of mastery, forges the resilient character of tool watches. As the dual anniversary year of 2025 arrived, the two houses chose not to celebrate alone. Instead, they fused their combined 170 years of glorious history into a collaborative hymn to craftsmanship.
This project, named "ProLab," was born from genuine dialogue and mutual respect between the brands' leaders. More than a mere commemoration, it became a creative laboratory: Laco infused the outdoor spirit of Circula's ProTrail line into its classic PRO case, creating a field watch with a warm, sand-colored dial. Circula, in turn, embodied Laco's pure aviation aesthetic within its ProTrail case, presenting a pilot's watch with a black Type-B dial. Their design languages converse, their proportions and details intricately linked, like complementary twins – each independent, yet perfectly aligned.
On the caseback, the inscription "Made in Pforzheim" and two golden dots subtly honor this shared heritage. An accompanying limited-edition coin, bearing the matching serial number, binds the two timepieces into one entity. With only 170 sets available worldwide, this limited release not only commemorates the sum of their years but symbolizes a profound encounter based on shared values – demonstrating how German watchmaking can illuminate the future through collaboration, beyond mere competition.
